did it ever cross your mind that we were shadowed by fate

looking into your eyes, the ocean’s stars glistened

why couldn’t I listen?

I saw an old friend tonight – turned on my heel & took off, hoping I could blend into the crowd. Not easy when my new BCBGs caught a rock and took me down. I almost said it – but instead, smiled and walked it off. Now is not the time. What more can I say that this heart hasn’t said already?

Life got a little easier, colors got a little brighter, the truth is always radiating in my life because of you. So relieved you’re happy – so glad she’s gorgeous. So grateful we had the conversations we did in the moment. Bad timing back then bred perfect timing today.
